Alpha and Omega are actually very close

Alpha and Omega are actually very close.

Alpha runs society from the top – is immune to the rules because, mostly, he is the rule. Omega operates outside of society, so, in a way, he´s also immune to the rules and micromanages his own universe. Both are ruthless, as in, I dont care about you, I do my own thing.

The beta is whats in between, the guy who follows the rules and wants to please his superiors.

Omega doesnt give a fuck. He usually hates the game.
Alpha doesnt give a fuck. He usually loves the game.

There are a lot of times when this omega comes from nowhere and steals the pot. No one saw him coming. A lot of breakthoughs have happened that way, driven by a sole individual who had a vision and somehow managed to score it big.

Alphas have the risk of becoming self indulgent when in power. The stuff is given easily to them. Become dumb dinosaurs. Think of GOP.

Omegas have the risk of becoming too excentric and mentally-fucked once they get the power to realize their vision. Think of Michael Jackson.

Beta is the realm of mediocrity / supportive roles. Each of those guys at the top needs an army of very responsible men fixing their mistakes and keeping the machine running. Betas become one with a cause that is not their own, they choose to belong and not to lead.

All are needed, mind you.

“Think GOP.” Yeah, also, “think DNC.”

Yes. Think "political class in general".

I was just thinking about this a while ago, and how I went straight from omega to alpha. Since I was never very needy and was always internally motivated, I skipped over the beta stage where my self esteem is derived from how others feel about me. I think the manosphere has a lot more to offer men like myself than it does betas.

Betas need way too much de-brainwashing

I agree with Snipe. In a matter of a year or two I went from pretty omega to alpha.

The change was quick and I all of a sudden started getting lots of interest from the opposite sex where previously this had been non-existent. I lost a lot of girls because I didn't realize that the tables had switched so much that the girls were worried about having a shot with me. This is actually probably a common "coming of age" experience for guys in their 20s.

You have a point. Probably was an omega when younger. If asked by folks who know me now? I get told Yes Sir a lot. These are not folks who work for me. Even if I tell them not to call me Sir. Probably because both ends of the spectrum can live inside themselves and don't think they need human validation. I am a Christian, have a glimpse of what true human nature is. Therefore the only One I will Bow to is God/Jesus. The people in NKorea are crying over kim jong il's death. WTF makes him better than any other human?

A joke from back-in-the-day.

Q. What’s brown and usually found in boys underwear?
A. Michael Jackson’s hand.

Too soon?

so i guess “omega” is defined as an outsider? i thought omega was a guy who was married, and thus not a loser, but still not a winner.

something like that.

anyway, i will look it up. i always get confused by these terms. to me, they were always

alpha = do whatever the fuck i want

beta = afraid to do whatever the fuck i want, for whatever reason

now you are saying an omega can be an outsider genius?

this reminds me somewhat of the book lila, and static quality vs dynamic quality.

Riv, I would have thought that Alpha was someone who knew the rules, and knew how to break them properly. Omega is someone who doesn’t know the rules and breaks them inadvertently.

An Omega who learns the rules and how to break them, he’s close to Alpha.

He’s not held back by the fears a Beta may have, in fact he will be relieved because suddenly everything becomes clear to him.

So, are alphas and omegas more successful? Do they have greater well being because they know they own their lives? Is there a downside to being a Alpha/Omega besides the ones mentioned? Do betas resent them? are they more lonely?

Is there an upside to being a beta? We can’t all be these extremes. So are the typical people reading this blog sick of their beta status and want to change it? Or is it not changeable. Yohami says beta’s are too brainwashed. That sucks, but only if it is worth it to be an alpha or omega.

Alphas embody success and Omegas failure. Betas idolize Alphas, at least the ones from their tribe or the ones they can relate to. Everyone hates Omega, and Omegas hate everyone and themselves.

The upside of being a Beta is that you’re safe and you can follow and do the right thing and get cookies. The cookies wont satiate, and you´ll lose and lose steam until you drop dead somewhere without glory, but you can manage to reap a few good things…. half of which are really other people ripping you off, but that you talk yourself out of realizing it so you can keep the thing going.

But let’s look at it again.

This is a pyramid. Alpha is on top. Owns the game, but ultimately has all the responsibility and his head will drop first when things go bad.

Betas are the body. They are also the fuel and everything else. A beta is never “enough” so he’s “lucky” for everything he’s got. A repulsive or pleasant state of mind, depending on who you ask. Their heads drop every time no matter if things go bad or good, death is required from the beta to keep the system, greater than the beta, running. And no one fucking cares.

Omega fell down the ladder because he doesnt understand the game, or cant play it, be it because he’s a swan on a duck dance, or because he’s a broken duck on a duck dance. The Omegadom comprises a lot of losers but also a lot of potential. And a lot of anger. That’s where revolutions are born.

There are for sure good things about betaness. Being loved and respected isnt one of them though. Think of the good aspects of being a pet and having to do tricks for food, and that will be close.
