I used to love this guy. I found his cocky-funny tips on the side of OK Cupid ages ago, and eventually I purchased all of his material. He lost me after reading his sex related stuff, with the “cuddle in bed but dont make a move so she cant reject you” – What? wrong frame. I moved on but I kept recommending him and his material for what its worth.
But WHAT THE FUCK are these vows.
Whatever floats your boat, bro. But this is a boat I wouldnt touch with a stick.

Given that David DeAngelo claims that he wants to make men stop being “wussies”, I think there is a huge discrepancy in the stuff he actually publishes. He doesn’t seem to be a good role model for an “alpha” anyway, just judging by his look and behavior.
Also, I find it quite amusing that the guy who has invented the phrase “cocky & funny” is anything but.

All of it. He´s promising a paradise where she can vert all of her emotions and he will adapt and support them, without judgement etc. He will mold to her and respond to her and.. etc. Mangina reactive herb yes men. He´s playing to her frame. His vows are feminine. There´s no dick there, no boundaries, no male greatness, nothing. Not even cocky and funny. He´s saying hey, Im yours and you do whatever you want with me, you can take me for granted now. We all know where that leads.

To be fair to Eben, his wife shared the same vows he did, so as much as he will be open and giving, she will too.
They will have an open, polyamorous marriage which is something your average Joe or Jane would never agree to and would never be able to manage.
Their union is what the future of marriage and relationships will be. 20 years from now there will no “traditional marriage” as we know it now. Heck, even now, its a remnant of the past that fewer and fewer people hang on to.
The future is MORE FREEDOM – for women, for men, for everyone.
We’re in the growing pains stage now, so it looks dangerous and feels painful, but ultimately its a move in a more positive direction.

It shows that “fake it until you make it” (C&F) doesn’t work in long-term. In fact it inhibits so-much-needed core development.
Him seeking approval of the audience at 3:53 is quite telling of the lack of his core. This is what happens when men fall into vagina before solidifying their own core. His vows sound meaningless to me because they are coming from void not core.

He wasn’t even the one who wrote those vows – it was his wife who wrote them (and Yohami correctly noted that vows are feminine in nature.). Aben indeed believes what he says – just as a child “believes” in Santa Clause his mommy told him about.

Man, you made me listen to another 2 minutes of this nauseating performance. Check 1:59 - she clearly says "I wrote this vows for us but in the back of my mind I was writing them". Yes, he was using "we" frame when speaking about the vows and she is using "me". Regardless of who wrote them in fact (I think her mostly), this is telling.
Based on how they both read them, I feel that she wrote them for HIM and he actually ate them up fully. She, however, didn't.
